Social Media Coordinator
A social media coordinator is responsible for attracting and engaging with followers on various social media platforms through creative posts, videos, reels, and promotions. The object is to build the company's online reputation and turn followers into forever customers. The social media coordinator will be expected to evaluate the analytics of all social platforms to develop new creative ideas to build an interactive network of followers.
Common responsibilities include: creating weekly content, engaging daily with followers, creating videos, sharing content, and working with marketing manager on promotional material.
Social Media Specialist Responsibilities:
-Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
-Create, coordinate, edit, publish and share content on a daily basis. Content must be original so that it builds a connection between the followers and encourages people to engage with our content. Content is expected to follow branding kit
-Meet target metrics provided by management
-Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
-Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
-Engage with the audience of our content through giveaways, comments, shout outs
-Utilize Planoly to schedule posts.
-Gather photos from service providers
-Create guidelines for service providers to follow when taking photos
-Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
-Collaborate with other departments (marketing, customer relations, sales etc) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions
-Post Last Minute Openings to IG in a timely manner
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
-Has experience working with Instagram and Facebook
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Willingness to learn how to edit photos and videos effectively
-Fluent in English
-Superb attention to detail
-Knowledge of major social media platforms
-Fluent user of Canva, Adobe Shop, and Planoly
-Graphic Design experience preferred
-Photo editing skills
Hourly rate: Starting at $15/hour
Part Time: 10-12 hours per week. Work from home.
