In this position you will be making the first and last impression on guests when it comes to their experience at our salon. We are looking for a front desk associate who is charismatic, detail oriented, and excels at sales offerings. This position is responsible for excellent customer service, offering salon guests additional service opportunities, as well as assisting guests in understanding products, specials, and services. Responsibilities include:
Guest Coordination
Answer client telephone calls and respond to voicemails promptly to solve appointment questions and requests.
Check clients in by greeting them as they enter and alerting the appropriate stylist or esthetician of their arrival.
Increase the pre-booking rate by offering to book a client’s next appointment.
Notify the manager about complaints or issues.
Reduce the number of no-show appointments through appointment reminders.
Frequently check and respond to email, SMS and PureChat questions and requests.
Handle client complaints and redo services in a professional and accommodating manner.
Increase services sales by asking each client if they wish to add on additional treatments or services to appointments.
Salon Staff Coordination
Manage staff scheduling conflicts by contacting clients promptly and following through with rescheduling the appointments.
Know the staff’s preferences and how to book their individual schedules accurately.
Increase staff productivity by booking appointments strategically to maximize the appointment book.
General Duties
Assists with salon cleanliness, organization, and merchandising.
Actively engage with retail clients to close sales.

Requirements
Must have at least one year of prior experience as a receptionist or related position
High School graduate or equivalent
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as fast typing skills
Competency using a POS and booking system
Must have reliable transportation

Compensation
Part-Time, 4 days/week (approx. 29 hours)
Starting Pay: $20+/hr
