Abby knew at a young age that she was a visual person. In high school she discovered her passion for art, specifically in painting, drawing and ceramics. She was accepted into CU Boulder’s Art program and learned quickly that being behind a desk all day studying was not what she had in mind. She was excited to start a career and be more hands on.
After touring the Aveda Institute of Los Angeles, Abby knew that hair was definitely what she wanted to pursue. Cutting felt like sculpting and coloring felt like painting. It came very naturally to her, especially because she’s always loved expressing herself and her creativity through her unique style. Since joining the hair world she is happier than ever knowing that she has found her passion in life.
Abby graduated from the Aveda Institute of Los Angeles in May, 2015 and moved back to Denver. She has been working behind the chair as a stylist since June of 2015. Abby has continued her education here in Denver, attending classes on advanced Aveda color and cutting techniques.
Abby is a great listener and enjoys collaborating with her clients to give them the best look to suit their lifestyle and personality. “It’s incredible how much our outer appearance can affect the way we feel. There’s no better feeling than knowing I’ve helped someone look their best and feel their best by enhancing their natural beauty.”
