Anara Lani, formerly Victoria Gray, began her career in 1992 while attending the Aveda Horst Institute in Minneapolis. She had the wonderful opportunity to work with many artists in the Minneapolis area, including Prince, and learned the craft of make up artistry and styling for stage, film and video.
She came to Denver with a passion for the aesthetic, and a desire to serve. After apprenticing with Paul Marqius of the former Marquis Institute, she began working for herself, in community, at Salon Euphoric. Countless advanced education classes on color placement and cutting techniques brought her to a place of masterful expression with in the art. Her years of experience has created an ability to connect with the inner, unspoken aspects of her clients. With this discovery, she is able to help assist them in learning how to express their essence.
After ten years of working with the Bliss team, Anara has joined the beautiful community of Clementines in order to expand her experience. She is committed to supporting self discovery, inner expression, and personal empowerment. Her training as a Kundalini Yoga Instructor, Light Worker, and practitioner of Thai Yoga Massage and Ho’okahi has given her additional insight into the support of her clients.
Every hair cut with Anara includes a customized consultation, education on home maintenance, an aromatherapy scalp massage, and a focused commitment on helping you to understand your beautiful expression.
When Anara is not cutting hair or painting, she is laughing with her two children, sculpting in the sunshine, and conspiring to bring more joy into the world.
